Three divisions will be played during AOUC 2011: men, women and mixed. The Organizers in Kaohsiung expect a participation of some 400-550 players from the WFDF member Federations in the Asian and Oceanic regions like Japan, Australia, Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Vietnam, and South Korea. HKUPA National Team first participated this Championship in 2007 and we expecting the National Team development carry on with a bigger success. This is focus on the team building and long-term development. A National Team Training and Selection will start after Hong Kong Pan Asia Tournament. If you are not the National Team players or Legal Citizen but commit to this Tournament and the future continue training program please contact me for a tryout on Oct 30. Players Classes as below: 3.運動員級別: 以下為有資格代表國家參賽之運動員級別: 3.1 法定公民 運動員持有當地政府發出之護照或相當之法律證明,即屬「法定公民」 3.2 國際飛盤聯盟公民 運動員已移居當地最少四年(以比賽日期起計),並且超過75%時間在當地生活,即屬「國際飛盤運動聯盟公民」 3.3 居民-非公民 運動員如: A) 擁有當地政府發出之永久居住法律證明文件 或 B) 移居當地最少20個月(以比賽日期起計),並且超過75%時間在當地生活 即屬「居民-非公民」 3.4 飛盤團體會員 如飛盤團體認為運動員對當地非常重要,但不屬以上三項參賽身份,國際飛盤聯盟可考慮動用酌情權,容許運動員代表當地參賽。國際飛盤聯盟會按以下條件作決定: 運動員在當地的居留時間 運動員在當地飛盤比賽的參與程度,尤其國家級別比賽 運動員過去代表國家參賽的歷史 運動員在當地飛盤運動發展的參與程度 以上資料需於登記名單時一拼遞交。 3. Player Classes Only the following players are allowed to play for a particular Country at an Event: 3.1. Legal Citizen Players are deemed to be "Legal citizens" if they own a passport or equivalent legal document issued by the country's government. 3.2. WFDF Citizen Players are also deemed to be "WFDF citizens" if they have moved to the country at least four years prior to the start date of the event and spent more than 75% of those four years in the country. 3.3. Resident Non-Citizen Players are deemed to be "Resident non-citizens" a) if they own a legal certificate of permanent residency issued by the country's government; or b) if they have moved to the country at least 20 months prior to the start date of the event and spent more than 75% of those 20 months in the country. 3.4. Ultimate Community Member Players are deemed to be "Ultimate community members" at the discretion of the National Association if they are considered to be a significant part of that Country’s ultimate community, but don’t fall under the above categories. The following may be taken into account by the National Association in making this decision: • Residency history in that Country • Participation in that Country’s ultimate events, especially national championships • Past representation on National Teams • Participation in the development of ultimate in the Country The reasoning will be provided along with registration information. |
